The Ten Commandments are LINKED to the Seven Annual Holydays, and are IN EFFECT today!
Exodus 34 directly associates the Second Commandment with the Annual Holydays!
Exodus 34 forbids using images (Ex 34:13-14,17) to worship the true God, and then commands holyday-keeping (Ex 34:18-24) as the only proper form and way to worship the true God.
This main issue addressed in Exodus 34 is all about HOW TO WORSHIP the true God, which is an entirely different subject matter than the First Commandment which commands WHO TO WORSHIP as the true God.
See: www.biblestudytools.com/nas/exodus/passage/?q=exodus+34:11-24
Is there another chapter in the Scriptures that explicitly links the PROPER WORSHIP of the Holyday Statutes with the Second Commandment?
Yes, there is! Read Deuteronomy 4, specifically verses 12-19.
These verses explicitly cite the Second Commandment in the context of keeping the “Statutes”!
Deuteronomy 4 is all about keeping the Statutes! See how many times the word “statutes” is mentioned. The first mention is in verse 1, and the last mention is in verse 40.

Therefore, because the Commandments and Holydays are LINKED, NOTICE is hereby given that ignoring the Annual Holydays constitutes ignoring the Second Commandment, and is a serious TRESPASS against God Almighty!
Ignoring or forsaking the exact dates of the Holydays is WHY the Assyrians took the Ten Tribes into captivity to the Caucasus Mountains! See: Ezek 20:23-24 and 2 Kings 17:22-23 and 1 Kings 12:32-33 and Lev 23:23-25
