The Seven Laws DIVERSION
Some are now promoting the "SEVEN LAWS OF NOAH" as being more important and encompassing than the "LAW OF MOSES".
The oral traditions and the scriptures in Acts 15:19-20 are cited as authorities for this claim as explained by John Pratt at johnpratt.com/items/docs/2016/seven_laws.html (Note: John Pratt observes Sunday and Easter with qualifications).
Now we must remember that Christ specifically warned us about putting the "tradition of men" before the commandment of God (Mark 7:6-13).
And the context of Acts 15 was about "circumcision" - NOT about the Commandments or the Statutes (holydays).
It appears that there is a new campaign underway to divert attention from the Mosaic Law to the Seven Laws.
Christ warned us about this (Mt 5:18-19).
And Christ specifically referred to the Ten Commandments, not the Seven Laws, when the young ruler asked what he had to do to inherit eternal life (Mk 10:17-19; Mt 16:16-19; Lk 18:18-20). The Ten Commandments are still in force even in the last chapter of Revelations (Rev 22:14 KJV,NKJV,TYN)!
This campaign dismisses the importance of keeping the Sabbath and the Holydays despite the clear scriptural evidence that these are intended to be observed by all mankind and all nations (Isa 66:23; Zech 14:16-19).
It should also be noted that these same Commandments and Statutes were in force upon all mankind long before the time of Moses (Gen 26:5). Abraham kept them! And it is logical to assume that their observance goes back to Noah and even Adam, since God's Plan of Redemption began "from the foundation of the world" (Rev 13:8; Mt 25:34; Gen 3:14-15).
Read the Article entitled "The Plan" to see WHY God's focus on the Holyday Statutes (Ex 23:14-17; 34:18-23) is so EMPHASIZED - it's so that all men can know His Plan and be saved (1 Tim 2:4)!
Therefore, beware the Seven Laws DIVERSION!
